ABOUT
Born and raised in Indiana, at 21 Matthew moved to New York City after signing a modeling contract. He was featured in advertising campaigns for Calvin Klein, CK 1, Dolce & Gabbana, DKNY, Roberto Cavalli and walked the runway around the globe for Gucci, Prada, Louis Vitton, J. Lindenberg, John Varvatos, Valentino, John Galliano and many more.
While traveling the world, camera in hand, he started learning from the master photographers he worked with including Raphael Mazzucco, Steven Klein, David Sims, Peter Lindbergh, Sam Norval, Bjorn Iooss, Mario Sorrenti & more. He attended the NY School of Visual Arts to fine tune his craft and quickly found himself working with some of the same global brands on the other side of the lens.
After a sever knee injury, Matthew started spending the cold NYC winters in Capetown, South Africa shooting photography full time and later moved to Los Angeles in 2014 where he found a new love for motion and story telling. He’s currently working documentaries, editorials, music videos, advertising, feature films & more.
